1. Decorate With Glue Gun & Crayons
With Halloween approaching quickly, you might not be so motivated to decorate a pumpkin, however, a fast and easy way to decorate is by using crayons and a hot glue gun. First, peel off the paper wrap off the crayons you want to use. Then, plug in and heat up your hot glue gun. Insert the crayons, and the hot glue gun should start to melt your crayon giving it a paint consistency. Then get creative decorating and designing your pumpkin.
2. Iron-On Crayon Designs
Want to design a shirt using very minimal work? It’s easy! All you need is sandpaper, crayons, an iron, and a plain shirt you want to decorate. On your sandpaper make the desired design using crayons. Flip your shirt inside out and place the sandpaper directly on the shirt. The uncolored side of sandpaper is the side you’re going to iron on the shirt. Iron the sandpaper for about 5 minutes and the design will transfer to the shirt. Designing a shirt can be so simple and mess free using this DIY.
3. Crayon Candles
Not only is Halloween around the corner, but Christmas is quickly approaching too. This next craft idea can be a really fun craft to make for your secret Santa or just any gift in general. All you need is a plastic coffee cup, crayons, and a candle wick. Place the candle wick in the cup. Then crush the desired crayons and place them into the cup. Put the cup in the microwave for 4 minutes or as much time as it takes for all the crayons to fully melt.
If you want to be even more creative, you can add any liquid oil scents into the cup and mix it in to make a scented candle. After this, you’re going to place the cup in the fridge for 20 minutes to allow this to dry. Once it’s dried, carefully cut the cup to get the candle out. You can carve the candle into whichever shape you want, or just leave it untouched and stick it in a votive holder.
