This Fish Aquarium Craft is so much fun to make! Make your very own fish tank to be displayed in your room. Use all different color pom-poms to make your favorite color fish!
What You’ll Need to Make Your Own Fish Aquarium Craft
- Wooden Board
- Pom-Poms
- Construction Paper
- Pipe Cleaners
- Felt
- Scissors
- Hot Glue
- Elmer’s Glue
- Marker
- Googly Eyes
Step 1
First, take your construction paper and wooden board and trace the construction paper to the exact same size as the wooden board.
Step 2
Cut out the construction paper and completely cover the wooden board with Elmer’s Glue.
Step 3
Line up the construction paper on top of the wooden board and smooth it on. Take your felt and line it up with the length of the wooden board. Draw a line of the exact length of the felt and draw a wavey line to be your sand.
Step 4
Cut out the sand and just place a line of hot glue at either end and stick on.
Step 5
Take your green ribbon and cut out four pieces.
Step 6
Fold the ribbon in half and cut the ends into a point. The ribbon will represent seaweed.
Step 7
Glue on your seaweed by hot gluing it underneath the felt.
Step 8
Take your pom-pom and your pipe cleaners and line them up.
Step 9
Take one pipe cleaner and one pom-pom and wrap the pipe cleaner around the pom-pom and twist together.
Step 10
Fold the ends of the pipe cleaners to where you twisted the pipe cleaner on and secure it to the twisted part on both sides. Pinch the circle you have created with the pipe cleaner to make the fishes tail pointed. Do this process for all of the fish you are making.
Step 11
Hot Glue your fish to the wooden board.
Step 12
Hot glue on the googly eyes to each fish.
Step 13
With your hot glue, make small dots for the fish’s air bubbles! And now you have your adorable Fish Aquarium Craft!
